FAQs

What software or apps do these LUTs work with?

Any editing software or app that supports standard .cube LUT files — including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and mobile editing apps like LumaFusion and Filmic Pro. If your app has an "Import LUT" or "Load 3D LUT" option, it will work.

Do these work with any iPhone, or only certain models?

These LUTs are built specifically for footage shot in Apple Log format. Apple Log is available on iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and newer Pro models running a compatible iOS version, using the Camera app or a third-party app that supports Log recording. If your iPhone doesn't shoot Apple Log, these LUTs won't grade correctly.

Do I need to shoot in Apple Log, or will these work on regular iPhone video?

These are built specifically for Apple Log footage. Log footage is intentionally flat and desaturated — that's what allows the LUT to apply a full, rich cinematic transformation in one step. Applying them to standard (non-Log) iPhone video will produce inaccurate colors and clipped highlights or shadows.

How do I turn on Apple Log on my iPhone?

Open the Camera app, switch to Cinematic or Video mode, tap the format/settings icon, and select "Log" under color profile (or use a third-party camera app with Log support, like Blackmagic Camera). The Installation Guide included in your download also covers recommended camera settings.
